§ 60.005. Persons exempt.

V. The following persons are exempt from the firearm regulations of this ordinance:
A.

Licensed police officers and sheriff deputies authorized to carry firearms under pertinent state statutes.

B.

Members of the military forces of the United States, National Guard, or the State of Michigan while engaged in such military service.

C.

Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Secret Service, ATF, Central Intelligence Agency and other Federal or State officers or agents authorized to carry firearms as a result of their governmental position and during their presence in the afore-described public buildings and public property.

D.

Those persons participating in military ceremonies.
